Information for Parents - Inclusion

Dear Parents,
I have pleasure in welcoming you back to St. Mary’s Private High School which is an Inclusive School. In the Inclusion Department we deal with a variety of Special Educational Needs such as Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), Dyslexia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) etc. In the Special Education Needs Department we have a team of staff to support the growth and development of SEND students: -

• SEND Teachers
• English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teachers
• SEND Learning Support Assistants (LSA’s)
• Psychology Internship Students from Bolton University – Temporary Placements
• Possible Shadow Teachers to support the SEND students – funded by Parents

We are going to have an activity in the SEND department which is a Social Interactive Board Games session to support the SEND students on Friday 15^th September.


I have pleasure in introducing the SEND Department and the Inclusion Team. I look forward to working with the SEND Students in this Academic Year 2023/24.
